Dr. Laura Albrecht
Dr. Laura (Twaddle) Albrecht is an Alliance native and a 2003 graduate of Alliance High School. Dr. Albrecht graduated from the University of Mount Union with a Bachelors in Biology, with minors in Spanish and Chemistry. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with Research Honors in 2016. Following graduation from dental school Dr. Albrecht completed a two year post-doctoral General Practice Residency at Mercy Medical Center in Canton Ohio, serving as Chief Resident her second year. During her time in residency Dr. Albrecht received advanced training in emergency dental medicine, full mouth rehabilitation in the hospital operating room, and treating medically compromised patients. She brings with her a strong medical background and values the role dentistry plays in her patients’ overall health.
Dr. Albrecht is an active member of the Stark County Dental Society, Ohio Dental Association, American Dental Association, Comprehensive Dental Excellence Forum, Spear Study Club, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She enjoys participating in local dental study clubs and continuing education courses to ensure she is providing the highest quality and most up to date care for her patients. Dr. Albrecht has a passion for teaching and serves as part time Clinical Faculty at the Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital Dental Residency.
During her time outside of the office Dr. Albrecht enjoys spending time with her husband David, their families, volunteering, and hiking State and National Parks. David is also a Stark County native and they are members of the Alliance Friends Church.
Her desire to give back to her local community and abroad has facilitated Dr. Albrecht’s involvement with numerous volunteer programs including participation in dental mission trips to Kenya, Haiti, Guatemala, Ecuador and Costa Rica. She plans to continue serving in this capacity for many years to come.
Dr. Albrecht strongly believes in patient centered care, with an emphasis on gentleness and compassion. She is excited to have the opportunity to serve her friends, family, and hometown community.
